Clanmil Housing Association Ireland CLG (Clanmil Ireland) is an Approved Housing Body with almost 360 properties in management. Having grown from a 68-unit housing scheme in Dundalk, they currently own and manage approximately 360 homes for social housing tenants in the four Dublin Council areas, and in Kildare, Louth, Meath, Laois and Wicklow. This includes general needs housing, housing for people with disabilities, and housing for the elderly.

Clanmil Ireland has approved borrower status with the Housing Finance Agency and was one of the first of the smaller AHBs to achieve this. The Association also has facilities with AIB to ensure that it maintains adequate liquidity to support business growth and operations.

They are now seeking to appoint a Development & New Business Manager.

Development & New Business Manager

Reporting to the CEO, the Development & New Business Manager will take the lead in the development and acquisition of new homes to meet organisational growth targets. At all times, the Development & New Business Manager will be expected to comply with the organisation’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.

Clanmil Ireland are seeking someone with a proven record of managing the property development function in a fast-paced organisation. The post-holder will have exceptional experience in identifying opportunities to be potentially acquired by Clanmil Ireland and undertaking the relevant steps required as part of the development process. Additionally, the preferred person will be an expert in developing relevant policies and complying with the regulations/legislation pertaining to property development.
