TopHouse

Since 2017, the ICSH has been involved the EU / Erasmus funded TopHouse project. TopHouse aims to define the competences of professionals in the assessment, housing and support/care sector to strengthen the ability of staff to foster inclusion and respect for human rights and work more effectively and constructively with the comples needs of service users.

Partners from Ireland, Finland, the UK, Belgium, Austria and Catalonia in Spain worked together over the two year project to deliver resources to assist people working housing and support to work in a more person-centred way, firmly rooted in the principles of the UN CRPD.

Eight training modules were also developed, to enhance the skills of people working in this field and both the resources and training materials are available for download below. The ICSH hope to disseminate these materials as widely as possible and would be delighted to work with our member organisations, local authorities and other stakeholders in delivering and implementing these materials and training. For further information on upcoming TopHouse events or to discuss how the training materials and resources may assist your organisation, please contact Catherine McGillycuddy on 01 6618334 or catherine@icsh.ie.
