The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien, recently commenced the relevant sections of the 2019 Act to allow for the drafting of Regulatory Standards. AHBRA is keen to ensure that AHBs are involved in the development of those standards, and are seeking AHB input at an early stage of the drafting process.
The focus groups will relate to:
a) the governance of AHBs
b) the financial management of, and financial reporting by, AHBs, and
c) property and asset management and tenancy management by AHBs
