De Verdon Place, Dublin 17 | Cost Rental | Tuath

De Verdon Place is a major public housing development comprising 238 high-quality apartments across two tenures: 77 Cost Rental homes and 161 social housing units. This development represents the first delivery of Cost Rental housing in Dublin City and is one of the country’s largest social housing developments. This positive tenure mix responds to two key housing challenges: addressing the needs of families and individuals on the local authority housing list through social housing, and supporting middle-income earners who are priced out of the private rental market but do not qualify for social housing through Cost Rental. The project promotes inclusion and housing equity through fully integrated tenures, eliminating distinctions in layout, finish or amenity access.

The development includes a wide array of communal amenities such as rooftop gardens, a shared playground, secure double-level underground parking with EV charging, and indoor community rooms. De Verdon Place is a benchmark in tenure-integrated, sustainably designed and community-focused housing delivery.
