Richmond Place, Dublin 8 | Large Regeneration Project | Circle VHA

Richmond Place, Ireland’s inaugural PathFinder Project, is a ground-breaking 52-apartment supported housing scheme, completed in March 2025. It empowers older adults to age in place with unparalleled dignity, independence, and strong community connections. This innovative model features a mix of 16 x 1.5-bedroom and 36 x 2-bedroom apartments, thoughtfully designed to adapt to residents’ evolving needs, from accommodating caregivers to providing ample space for couples. Communal facilities, including a residents’ room with kitchen, a hairdresser, and beautiful residents’ gardens, further foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of Inchicore, just 500 meters from essential health and retail amenities, Richmond Place ensures vital supports are always within reach. These accessible, well-designed homes foster autonomy, facilitate “right-sizing,” and significantly reduce reliance on acute hospital or nursing home care. Richmond Place represents an innovative collaboration between Circle VHA, Alone, Dublin City Council, the Health Service Executive, and the Departments of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and Health.
