To all relevant ICSH member organisations,
Dear Members,
On June 17th 2021 an EGM to amend the ICSH Memorandum & Articles of Association was held, and arising from that the new ICSH Governance structures were agreed.
COUNCIL OF THE ICSH
The Council shall be comprised of the elected representatives of full affiliated member organisations, split as follows:
(i) Five representatives from Tier 1.
(ii) Five representatives from Tier 2.
(iii) 9 representatives from Tier 3 (made up of 4 representatives from full affiliated member organisations managing between 300 and 1,000 homes and 5 representatives from full affiliated member organisations managing over 1,000 homes).
‘Tier 1’ comprises full affiliated member organisations managing less than 50 homes.
‘Tier 2’ comprises full affiliated members organisations managing between 50 and 300 homes.
‘Tier 3’ comprises full affiliated members organisations managing over 300 homes.
(i) The full ICSH Board will then comprise the aforementioned 11 Council members plus 3 independent co-opted members with specific expertise and will convene bi-monthly.
(ii) The 11 Council members elected to the Board will retire in year three of their tenure and will be eligible for re-election for a further term as appropriate.
The Current Council and Board have come to the end of their Tenure
The COUNCIL has met on 3 occasions this year.
An election process must now take place to fill the vacancies caused by the ‘retirement’ of Council & Board Members, as required by the Mem & Articles/Constitution. Retiring members are eligible to stand again for election.

The process will be by email / postal vote for all Tiers
Tier 1: 5 vacancies
Tier 2: 5 vacancies
Tier 3: 9 vacancies
(4 from organisations managing 300-1,000 homes and 5 from organisations managing over 1,000 homes )
