Achieving our Ambitions – Social and Affordable Housing Delivery for the Next Decade. 16th & 17th October 2024 – Radisson Blu Hotel, Sligo
This year’s ICSH Finance and Development Conference takes place at an inflection point in the social housing sector’s development. Output has increased at a significant rate in recent years and approved housing bodies and local authorities have been tasked to deliver even greater levels of social and affordable housing. With the backdrop of the Report of the Housing Commission, the Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH) Strategic Review of the AHB Sector and numerous expert analyses highlighting the stark figures of housing output needed over the coming years, this is a point at which the sector can take stock of what has been achieved to date and reflect on what concrete actions are needed to achieve this ambition.
This conference will focus on these issues, bringing together expert speakers with the vision to help the social and affordable housing sector grow. This event is a vital networking and learning opportunity for leaders across the non-profit, public and private sectors, all committed to delivering high quality housing in new and innovative ways. We hope this conference will spark debate, generate discussion and inspire greater innovation and new partnerships.
This year we welcome a new segment to the Conference as we move into an innovative space of thinking to the future with our very own Dragons Den style Social Impact Challenge pitching session. The ICSH, alongside our conference partner AIB, have invited entries from AHBs and Local Authorities to present their social impact project linked to the housing and community space we strive to improve.
