The 5th edition of the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) will take place in Dublin from 4th – 6th of June 2025. The festival is an initiative of Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing that gathers industry experts from around the world to exchange experiences, learnings and shared goals. As members of Housing Europe, It will be hosted by the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH), with support from Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI).

Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD, officially launched the ISHF on the September 5th 2024 at the F2 community centre in Rialto, which was established as part of the regeneration of the Fatima Mansions complex.

ISHF Dublin 2025 will continue the conversations started in the four previous host cities, with the theme of “Storytelling” shaping the discussion over two and a half days in Dublin. Organisations from across the globe will have the opportunity to put their ideas forward and shape the agenda of the Festival.

The Festival will be hosted in the Convention Centre in Dublin City, with plenty of opportunities to see what else Dublin has to offer with field trips and social and cultural events.

The submissions portal for ISHF 2025 is now live. There are opportunities to submit proposals for seminars, workshops, site visits and social & cultural visits. We want to hear from everyone with a story to tell about the importance of having a home. The submissions will be used to help shape the programme for the festival
