This guidance document is designed to detail a range of collaborative and partnership opportunities available to organisations and provides clear guidance on how AHBs can progress these opportunities. Its purpose is to assist both AHBs that have decided to transfer their housing stock and those who are able to benefit from engaging collaboratively with another organisation. It augments the project planning guidance by detailing three recent case studies that have resulted in the consolidation of the sector or that demonstrate new ways of working for existing housing associations. Finally, it is hoped this guide, along with other resources produced by the ICSH, will support all AHBs that want to consider their options going forward in a strategic manner.
