The Irish Council for Social Housing’s 2021 Annual Report marks another year disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and highlights the enduring resilience of our members, our sector and our country. Despite the difficulties created by the global crisis, 2021 delivered a number of key milestones for the AHB sector and shone a light on the important role our members play within Irish society.
2021 was characterised by responsive decision-making and real time information, and we hope this will continue to be the approach over the coming years. In 2021, the ICSH actively represented members and the sector on various national and local delivery groups focusing on social and affordable housing delivery as well special needs housing groups which, alongside the ICSH specialist working groups with member AHB representatives, and our continued on-line engagement with members and key stakeholders, has ensured the voice of our AHB members remains amplified.
