Fold housing are proud and excited to support our tenants Phyllis McGlynn and Ann Delaney from New Dolphin Park who, in conjunction with the local D8 Mens Shed and other Rialto residents, wrote and performed in a short film called “Waiting”.
These talented seniors have been working with filmmaker Paul Farren over the past few months, attending workshops in the Digital Hub and perfecting their acting and filming skills.
“Waiting” is a Short Film drama which tells the tale of friends and acquaintances meeting in the local doctor’s surgery – a place of socialising as well as healing.
The film will premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival on Friday 25th February at 1.00pm in the Lighthouse Cinema, Smithfield and will be streamed online from 3.30pm the same day.
