The 2007 ICSH biennial national social housing conference took place in Whites Hotel, Wexford Town from the 25th-27th of September. Over 300 delegates attended the conference which focused on how social housing can provide housing options right throughout peoples’ lives. Issues such apartment living in social housing, how to integrate sustainable energy initiatives, promoting neighbourhood management and delivering housing options for older people and people with disabilities were explored.
