The ICSH will host a webinar on Tuesday the 14th of January at 11am on the submissions process for the International Social Housing Festival (Dublin, 4-6 June 2025). Please note that the deadline for submissions is 31st January 2025. (further information and guidelines on ISHF 2025 submissions are available below).

The submissions portal for ISHF 2025 is now live https://www.socialhousingfestival.eu/submissions

The theme of ISHF 2025 is ‘Storytelling’. This overarching theme should be a feature in proposals for seminars, workshops, presentations, site visits, and social/cultural event proposals. We want to hear from everyone involved in the planning, development, management, financing, study and refurbishment of housing. It is important that we also hear from tenants and activists and anyone who has a story to tell about the importance of having a home. Original research, innovative policy interventions and collaborative submissions are all welcome.

The submissions will be used to help shape the programme for the festival in Dublin on 4-6 June 2025. The deadline for submissions is 31st January 2025.

Submissions are welcome in any one of the following categories

  • Adapting housing to the changing climate
  • Eradicating homelessness
  • Housing an ageing population
  • Net-zero housing
  • Rent regulation
  • The social value of social and affordable housing
  • Housing for International Protection Applicants
  • Challenges & solutions to delivering social and affordable housing
  • Financing social and affordable housing
  • Delivering and managing social and affordable homes for disabled people
  • The role of land in the provision of social and affordable housing
  • Delivering affordable homes for young people
  • Other (includes social & cultural submission proposals)

Proposal Type
A proposal can be submitted under one of the following categories.

  • Oral Presentation
  • Seminar
  • Site Visit (with Workshop)
  • Site Visit (Without Workshop)
  • Social & Cultural
  • Workshop
