The Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) is the national federation for non-profit housing associations (also known as AHBs) representing more than 270 member organisations that own and manage more than 75,000 homes for an estimated 200,000 people. These are households big and small including families, older people, disabled people and households that have experienced homelessness.
10,571 social homes were delivered by local authorities and AHBs in 2025. AHBs delivered 5,465 (52%) of these homes. Our cost rental delivery for middle-income households made up 22% of our total 2025 delivery.
