Clearstream Court
Clearstream Court is a small development in Finglas. Tuath Housing manages 14 units within the development mixed two and three bed family homes. On the day our tenant Annette McGregor stated that she feels European Neighbours day is an excellent event to bring communities together and she looks forward to further community events.
Quarry Road
Homestead Court comprises of 70 family units within a seven block development. On our European Neighbours day we invited a magician entertainer to perform a magic show/ face painting and balloon making on the day. We had an excellent turn out and was thoroughly enjoyed by all with some children asking ‘when is the next European Neighbours Day’.
Knightsbridge, Trim
Knightsbridge is a retirement Village in Trim, Co. Meath. The retirement Village is made up of Private, Social, Owner Occupiers along with a Nursing Home on site. For European Neighbours Day we held a Tea Party in the Village Hall. This was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, especially the residents from the Nursing home with some reciting Poems.
Garristown
Garristown comprises of 18 3 bedroom houses. Túath Housing invited residents to catch up with their neighbours. There was food and drinks provided at the event and it was enjoyed by all who attended on the day.
The Weir, Kilkenny
European Neighbours Day was held in The Weir Kilkenny this year and was attended by over 60 children. We had a fancy dress, face painter, music and games for the children and for the adults we had tea and coffee, the sun was shining and a great day was had by all.
