Woodside | Embedding Affordability | Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council

Woodside is Ireland’s first purpose-built cost rental development providing 50 cost rental and 105 social homes which are managed by Tuath and Respond Housing Associations. Affordability is at the heart of Woodside from the construction phase through to its management and maintenance. The homes were delivered on land provided by Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council, supported by the Housing Agency under the land aggregation scheme.

The project is the result of an innovative collaboration between the Council, the Housing Agency, Respond, Tuath, the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and the Housing Finance Agency. Woodside provides secure, affordable housing for low to middle-income earners, introducing a new tenure model in the Irish housing market. The development offers a mix of apartments and terraced housing, complemented by its scenic location in the Dublin mountains.
