17/01/2024 @ 09:4513:00

Ashling Hotel, 10-13 Parkgate St, Stoneybatter, Dublin 8

Register now for the first in our Introduction to Social Housing Induction Seminars taking place in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin next Wednesday, January 17th 2024. The session will run from 9.45am to 1pm followed by lunch and it takes place in the Phoenix Suite of the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin (adjacent to Heuston Station).

This session will focus on the Social Housing Landscape and will introduce participants to the structural and policy framework all housing providers work within. We will introduce the key agencies involved in housing, simplify the vast array of acronyms, agencies and technical terms that are used when we talk about housing and discuss how housing policy has evolved over the years bringing us to our current policy landscape.

For any queries, please contact catherine@icsh.ie.

The fee for each session is €120 or you can sign up to all five for €550.

The content will be delivered by ICSH staff and this and the entire series of introductory sessions are aimed at people new to working in housing, both in AHBs and local authorities. It aims to give a broad overview of the social housing system in Ireland and we hope that delegates will be more informed about the history of the housing system and how we have arrived to our current policy landscape.
