North & East are delighted to announce the upgrade of 55 homes in Killegland, Ashbourne and An Chearnóg, Dundalk. The upgrade works have been made possible under the SEAI Better Energy Communities Scheme and an innovative funding arrangement between SEAI, transport companies and community organisations.
The measures for the North & East homes include insulation upgrades, boiler and heating controls together with stove installation. Killegland, Ashbourne and An Chearnóg, Dundalk were built in 1995 and 2004 respectively, the works will cost €555,000 in total with North & East contributing €192,000 towards the cost of the project. All works are on target for completion by end Sept.2016
North & East was previously a recipient of the SEAI grant in 2014 that allowed similar works to be undertaken in Seaview Grove, Laytown.
