“How to prepare for a changed future”
Praxis Care are holding a conference in the City North Hotel, Gormanston, on the 9th November 2016. This year the conference will be discussing the future of disability services in a period of unprecedented change. The conference will look at this important question from the perspective of policy makers, providers, HSE and people and their families. Finian McGrath T.D. Minister of State with special responsibility for Disability Services will open the conference. There are a number of experienced speakers from the practice and family perspective and comparisons from England. Please see attached the programme.
The conference is part of Praxis Care’s work to raise awareness of importantpolicy questions which must be answered if the real needs of people with disabilities, especially those with complex needs, are to be met in the future.
