Housing Manual Information Session – June 22, 11am

The Housing Agency has recently revised and updated the Housing Manual, which can be found at www.housingmanual.ie. The Housing Manual is a comprehensive and up to date resource for housing practitioners In Ireland. The Housing Manual contains a wealth of information, organised under five headings: housing supply, housing management, pathways to home ownership, housing policy & legislation and housing related matters. It provides information on relevant topics, as well as links to download useful resources such as circulars, toolkits, legislation, regulations, booklets, presentations, guidance etc. The Housing Manual was originally developed by The Housing Agency in 2011. Some of the topics covered include:

  • Acquisitions
  • Approved Housing Bodies
  • Vacant Properties
  • Part V
  • Homelessness
  • Disability
  • Traveller Accommodation
  • Affordable Housing Schemes
  • Housing Policy and Legislation
