Common Ground: Building Leadership, Cultural Connection & Community Capacity Across Northern Ireland and Ireland (2025–2028).
PEACEPLUS Common Ground is a three-year, cross-border programme led by the NIFHA – Northern Ireland Federation of Housing Associations with Irish Council for Social Housing as the ROI Partner, and partner housing associatiosn in NI Apex Housing Association, Choice Housing Ireland Ltd, Radius Housing, Woven Housing Association Rural Housing Association Limited and the Clanmil Housing Group. This project focuses on transcending local boundaries through a strategic approach to promoting peace and reconciliation across/between NI/ROI focused on creating inclusive, engaged communities through a social housing and neighbourhood lens. Importantly, the project utilises the housing sector as a ‘community anchor’, building on existing networks, infrastructure, capacity and resources to deliver strong community interventions.
