Túath recently completed the purchase of 7no. houses in Roseberry Hill, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Túath worked in partnership with Kildare County Council, the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, the Housing Finance Agency Limited and NAMA to ensure high specification family homes were purchased in a high demand area.
The properties will be exclusively allocated to applicants from the Council’s waiting list.The Association welcomed the opportunity to access finance via the Housing Finance Agency Limited and CALF through the Department to complete these purchases and look forward to further purchases utlising these funding sources.

The Association has also purchased new homes in Ballinasloe and Kilkenny and commenced a ten year lease on 10 new build family homes in Carlingford. This has ensured we have taken advantage of the leasing model to provide much needed affordable family homes for local people in an area where demand is high but supply is limited.
