Board & Sub-Committee Appointments

Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking to appoint new members to its Board and Sub-Committees.

Since 1973 Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) has supported the delivery of more than 8,500 homes Last year CHI provided 849 homes, and we now manage over 5,500 tenancies. CHI is unique as it is the national federation for the co-operative housing movement and an Approved Housing Body.

The Board is seeking expressions of interest from appropriate individuals, with a view to co-option to the Board & Sub-Committees, with backgrounds in housing, finance, and construction or property management. Appointments are unpaid (except for expenses) and last two years.

Board members must reside in Ireland. In addition to potential Board membership, the Board wishes to hear from individuals who would be suitable to serve on the following Sub-Committees:

  • Audit, Assurance and Finance
  • Development & Growth
  • Housing Services (tenancy management) and Community Engagement
  • Asset Management and Property Services
