Job Information: This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week over five days, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, occasional evening work may be required.
Job purpose: Working as part of HAIL’s Housing Management Team you will be responsible for managing the tenancies and properties in your designated area, in accordance with the Organisation’s policies and procedures and contributing to the overall successful performance of the Team. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with your HAIL colleagues and with the key external stakeholders; including the relevant personnel in the Local Authorities.
About Us
Housing Association for Integrated Living (HAIL) has been operating since 1985, providing high-quality independent social housing with specialist mental health tenancy sustainment supports. HAIL provides homes to people with long-term mental health support needs alongside general needs social housing.
The visiting tenancy sustainment model supports people to live independently and be integrated in the community. This promotes autonomy, recovery, stability and full participation in society within regular housing settings rather than institutional environments. Supports are person-centred and delivered in collaboration with HSE mental health services and other community-based supports, based on individual need, choice and preferences.
HAIL currently owns 486 homes, approximately 70% of which are for people with mental health support needs and 30% for general needs tenants. HAIL’s model is grounded in the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), particularly the right to living independently and being included in the community, ensuring full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.

Role Description
The purpose of this role is to act as Housing Officer for Dublin and the surrounding area (currently comprising approximately 200 units) and to carry out the duties outlined below. HAIL reserves the right to reallocate responsibilities from time to time and may require the successful candidate to undertake additional duties, projects, or responsibilities that are reasonably related to the role.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and experienced Housing and Property Team committed to delivering high-quality housing management services to tenants. The role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive management structure that encourages professional development and provides ongoing opportunities to enhance skills and experience within the housing sector.
